I have blonde hair, I personally leave it in for 5-10 minutes. This does not make my hair blue at all. I recently bleached my hair to about a level 7-8 and it pulled really orange in some spots. I was using purple shampoo which wasn’t helping, so i decided to try a blue. Oh. My. God. This stuff is INCREDIBLE! Its not drying at all, i have no issues with staining towels or bedding ect. Just make sure you rinse it realllyyy good. Ive been asked 5 times today if i bleached my hair again. This made my blonde appear lighter just after 2 uses, and im soooo excited because i was hating the orange.

I have blonde hair and this stuff helps keep the “Brass off”! It’s the only toning shampoo that works and I have tried everything from Shimmer Lights to Olaplex and Lange. Highly recommend for my fellow blondes, this stuff is the best!

It does what it says! It very slightly darkens my hair to a darker blonde but it does what it says. This blue shampoo removes orange better than the purple shampoos. I do recommend! Rinse off well because it can stain pillowcases. Smells wonderful and leaves hair soft.

Total novice is toning etc just a girl who thought her aging brown hair (color glossed from time to time) was looking blah… pleased with results! Not too drying but I could see it being drying with over use. Blue shampoo isn’t meant to be used on the reg. Use smartly and I think you will like it. Will help me maintain color tone nicely until next salon visit.

I recently got my hair colored and was told to use this specific product. I love the Matrix brand and all of their products. I did find that this shampoo is kind of runny though.
