   Purchased back in April of this year. Every time I use both the shampoo & conditioner… Tons of hair falls out! My hair is now thinning out bc of this. I expected so much more being that its so pricey. Never again! Save your money!

   I always hear that this is so many people’s holy grail/favorite shampoo. I was on the hunt for a new shampoo and conditioner and finally decided to splurge on this one. I was devastated by how disgusting it made my hair feel. I washed my hair, as always rinsed it out thoroughly, then went to blow dry it. I was shocked at how greasy it felt and looked when I was finished with it; that never happened to me before. I had to go out and didn’t have time to jump back in the shower so my whole night was me just praying no one else could tell how awful my hair looked/felt.

   I have a love-hate relationship with Pureology shampoos. I’ve loved the way they make my hair feel, but really don’t like the scent. My hair is thick and wavy, long (~shoulder blade length), and becoming increasingly coarse as I go grey (currently about 40-50%). The underlayer is bleached and dyed with demi-permanent fantasy colors, and the top layer is dyed with demi-permanent natural colors and toned. This is one of the only shampoo and conditioner combos that makes my hair feel truly hydrated and soft. However, after recently swallowing my pride and buying it again, I’ve noticed that it’s stripping out my hair color. Just two washes after a fresh dye job, my hair color looks like it hasn’t been touched up in months; it’s the kind of performance you’d expect from a clarifying shampoo designed to strip color. Totally unacceptable from a prestige brand product labeled color-safe, and a huge disappointment. It makes me wonder if the formula has changed, because I don’t recall this ever being an issue.

   when i first purchased this product, i was a bit skeptical. but once it arrived, and after months of using it, i can say it is the best shampoo ive ever used. my hair has never been softer and my hair used to feel like horse hair! though the bottles are small, if used properly it will last you a while- so i think its 100% worth the price.

   Purchased the travel size version based on positive reviews I had read online from various sources. Saw my stylist shortly after using this product and was told my hair was sticky and dry. Therefore, unfortunately, this isn’t the right product for me.
