Was really interested in these to replace my trusty 2 X Jabra Elite 75t. The sound is definitely slightly richer and deeper, although not as much as expected. But the units always felt loose in my ears, even with the XL tip and even the correct aftermarket Comply tips.The real killer was the weaker ANC (even cranked to the max setting). Tested next to a fan and a dishwasher, more noise was heard thru the MW08 compared to the Jabra. This could be due to loose fitting eartips.Finally, I was not blown away by the Kevlar case. Oddly, the lid is very heavy in relation to the main part, so it would often fall over backwards as the earbuds were removed. A small thing but suggests that design was not spot on.The testing was done with my second pair. The first were returned immediately as there was glue, presumably from manufacture, all over the grilles.Shame! Might try M&D again in the future, but for now my Jabra Elite 75t remain.

Letzterer hat einen kleinen Hook, der den KH bombenfest im Ohr hält – und genau DAS ist mein Anspruch an einen “Sport” Earbud. Er mus bombenfest sitzen. Dass der MW08 diesen Hook nicht hatte war mir klar. Ich wollte es dennoch probieren.Nun, für mich ist der Fit des MW08 Sport ein Totalausfall. Probiert habe ich alle Aufsätze von XS bis M. Leichtes Kopfschütteln – Bud fällt raus. Schnellerer Gang zum Bus – Bud wird locker. Gym – Bud wird locker. Gähnen – Bud wird locker. Katastrophe.Zum Vergleich: Mit dem Jabra kann ich mich schlafen legen. Da bewegt sich bis zum nächsten Morgen nichts. Laufen – der Jabra sitzt! Mit dem MW08 ist an Laufen nicht zu denken, wenn man nicht im Sekundentakt nachjustieren will.Ich will dazu sagen: Bei mir muss ein KH für einen guten Fit bombenfest sitzen. Löst sich der KH bei Bewegungen ist der Fit schlicht nicht gut! Und das ist beim MW08 einfach immer der Fall.KLANG *****Der MD Signature Sound passt tatsächlich sehr sehr gut! Der Bass ist makellos, einfach perfekt für so einen Earbud. Die Soundstage bzw. Klangbühne ist phänomenal. Dafür braucht es einfach keinen EQ. Allerdings gibt es minimalste Abstriche bei Mitten und Höhen.Honey – klare Vocals und definierter, klar, punktuell punchender Bass. Das gleiche bei James Taylor – Gaia. Fühlt sich an, als würden Honey und Jamesdirekt im Wohnzimmer für einen singen.Toto – Hold the Line und Cafe Quijano – La taberna del Buda. Super definierter, perfekt sitzender Bass, weltklasse Soundstage! Madonna – Music ist hierfür auch ein klasse Beispiel.My Number – man spürt die Bass Drum förmlich Luft in den Gehörgang drücken. Die Töne sind fein links und rechts aufgelöst. Die Höhen (bspw. durch die Instrumente) sind fein säuberlich herausgearbeitet. Die Vocals werden einem fast schon in den Gehörgang geschrien.Miles Davis – So what. Als wäre man in der Front-Reihe einer Jazzbar. Nein, mitten auf der Bühne. Miles trompetet einem mitten in den rechten und linken Gehörgang. Die anderen Instrumente werden sehr fein wiedergegeben und sind genau auf der imaginären Jazz-Bühne auszumachen.Nat King Cole – Unforgettable. Wer mal vor Freude weinen möchte hört sich diesen Song auf den MW08 Sport an. Nats Stimme wird direkt ins Hirn übertragen. Minimal distanzierter, aber nicht minder deutlich, sind die Instrumente wahrzunehmen. Einfach perfekt.Man merkt allerdings auch, dass es dem MW08 Sport stellenweise an Power und Antrieb fehlt. Bei bspw. Local Natives – Everything All At Once, Adele – Rolling in the Deep oder Carl Orff – Carmina Burana bleibt die eigentliche Energie in den Songs, die vor allem über die Mitten und Höhen kommt, etwas auf der Strecke. Das ist Kritik auf sehr hohem Earbud-Niveau.Allerdings muss man auch sagen, dass MD nunmal auch 350 Euro verlangt und sich diese Kritik bei der Flughöhe auch gefallen lassen muss.ANC*Das ANC ist kaum bis gar nicht existent. In diversen städtischen Umgebungen getestet und so gut wie gar keinen Unterschied gemerkt.Optik *****Ich kenne keinen schöneren Earbud!Haptik, Verarbeitung *****1a. Es gibt keine „perfekten“ Kopfhörer. Es kommt drauf an, worauf man den gelten Wert legt. So auch bei den MW08 Sport, von denen ich mir (für den Preis) sehr viel erhofft hatte.Positiv:- Soundqualität: sehr ausgeglichen und balanciert. Ob Bass, Mitten oder Höhen, alles kommt sehr „klar“ rüber. Ein Genuss- Akkulaufzeit: die halten schon gut durch, aber es kommt aufs individuelle Nutzerverhalten an (ANC an/aus, Lautstärke). Jedenfalls kann man hier nicht meckern- Materialanmutung: Premium. Das Saphirglas der Hörer fühlt sich echt edel an, kein Vergleich mit der Plastikkonkurrenz. Das Ladecase hat mich weniger beeindruckt, ist aber auch wertiger als bei der Konkurrenz- kabelloses Laden des Cases- Druckpunkte der Knöpfe: haptische Tasten mit perfektem „Klick“. Hervorragend.- Stärke der Verbindung: ich konnte durch die ganze Wohnung laufen mit den Hörern, das Telefon lag auf dem Bett. Es gab nicht einen Abbruch der Verbindung, stets klar.Neutral:- Sitz/Komfort: das ist individuell, bei mir fallen die Hörer nach einer gewissen Zeit raus. Die Schaumstoffe sitzen deutlich besser als die Gumminoppen- Größe: muss man mögen, mich hat die Größe der Hörer und des Cases nicht gestört- die App: es wird oft bemängelt, dass es keine EQ Möglichkeit gibt. In der App nicht, aber auf dem iPhone (so habe ich getestet) kann man in den Musikeinstellungen den EQ Umstellen. Fand die standardmäßige Einstellung aber so gut.Negativ:- das ANC: quasi kaum vorhanden. Man sollte es als zusätzliches entwicklungsfähiges Gimmick sehen, aber auf gar keinen Fall wegen dieser Funktion kaufen. Da ist die Enttäuschung vorprogrammiert – so auch bei mir. Hatte mir deutlich mehr erhofft. Jedes Klicken und Klackern ist zu hören. Auch das Flugzeug im Hintergrund wurde nicht gedämpft, genauso wenig der halblautstarke Fernseher. Hörer rein und in Ruhe Lesen geht damit nicht.Deswegen in Summe 3 Sterne für mich. Der Preis ist hoch. Wenn man hochwertig verarbeitete TWS haben will mit guter, balanciertet Soundqualität und einer breiten Auswahl an Noppengrößen, dazu physische Knöpfe – das sollte passen. Aber das ANC ist sehr schwach. Ich wollte aber gutes ANC haben. Wenn M&D das in Zukunft hinbekommt, dann können das richtig gute Hörer werden. So leider eher als Hörer praktisch ohne ANC zu betrachten, dafür könnten sie aber auch etwas günstiger sein.

Habe das Produkt gekauft, nachdem ich mit den Samsung Galaxy pro buds soundmäßig unzufrieden war.Vom Klang her sind die buds im Vergleich um Welten besser. Quasi perfekt.Die zugehörige app bietet klangmäßig leider nur wenig Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf.In Bezug auf den Sitz beim Sport (bei mir running) sind lediglich die Schaumstoff-Aufsätze geeignet, Silikon rutscht beim Laufen aus dem Ohr. Mit denen passt es dann.Die oft kritisierte nsc ist tatsächlich schlechter im Vergleich zu anderen Konkurrenten, aber der Sound wiegt diesen Nachteil meiner Meinug nach auf. Möglicherweise bringen ja noch Software-Updates Verbesserungen.Trotz allem ein wirklich stolzer Preis, den ich lediglich aufgrund des Sounds bezahle.

L’oreillette gauche ne fonctionne pas, ou la droite cesse de fonctionner. Il m’est impossible d’appareiller les deux oreillettes en même temps. Le son est misérable ! Darn near perfection. I have used pretty much every credible earbud in the last few years. Sony, Apple, Beats, Bose, B&W, Samsung, Klipsch, M&D, and more. I have also used every generation of Sony buds. In terms of overall use and features, these are not a giant change from the last gen XM4 buds. However, there are significant improvements in key areas. Here is the breakdown:Sound: There are moderate sound improvements here, over the last generation Sony’s, which were already close to class leading. Sony put a larger driver in here and it makes a difference. Additionally, Sony added a lot of processing horsepower here. The put in their latest chip for audio, but then added a separate chip to handle all of the ANC duties. Sony argues, that by separating the tasks here, they were able to more finely tune the audio. You can hear the difference. Bass is thumping, highs are even more crisp, and the mid vocals definitely pop more. I am no audiophile but these are really good. To me, these sound better than the latest Bose and Airpod Pro buds. You have to get into the really high-end audio companies to find sound this good. As always, you get Sony’s LDAC here if you can use it for high-end audio options and the DSEE Extreme tech that upscale regular more compressed audio. The DSEE really shines here. Your Spotify or Apple music app has never sounded so good. I think most folks will be very satisfied with what Sony has done here and, at the end of the day, sound quality is a big reason to make such an investment.Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): These are the best ANC buds Sony has ever made which is saying something. They were already 1b to the latest from Bose, but these have improved dramatically to me. The new dedicated chip just gets it done. These buds adjust the ANC to the noise around you. I honestly hear pretty much nothing other than my music when I have these in. The latest Quiet Comfort’s from Bose are still at least as good to me in this arena, but that is pretty much the only area that Bose still is really on equal footing. At least in my opinion. Fit really determines great ANC, so while these are great, there is definitely some subjectivity that comes into play here. I think most will be very happy with the results they get here though.Form Factor: This is an area that Sony has absolutely nailed it and I am going to just say, FINALLY! Every bud Sony has made has always had an asterisk for me. “They sound so good but they just aren’t that comfortable” was what I often told folks. Not anymore. Sony has made these buds significantly smaller and by adding the glossy interior, has created a bud I hardly notice in my ear. They have gone from a “yeah but” to a class leader in the fit and comfort space. I really cannot emphasize enough how good these are. These buds have an IPX4 rating so they should handle the gym with no issues. Sony has included a revised version of their hybrid foam tips from last year and they are great. They just hold the buds in snug and really help block ambient sound. Just so so good Sony. Thank you for the thoughtful redesign. I also want to give Sony a nod for the case redesign. Same battery (3 charges) but much smaller. I love it.Battery and Connectivity: The battery life is the same from last year. About 7 to 8 hours of real use. It is fine. Not class leading but not bad either. Connection here is BT 5.3 so the latest. Same as last gen. However, Sony said that these buds will be LE compatible when they finally start rolling this out over the coming year so you can expect even better sound and perhaps even battery life someday soon. This essentially future proofs these buds.Call Quality: Not much to say here other than these are about as good as it gets. Sony added bone conductive tech here and you can tell. Your calls sound great.Intangibles: There are too many features to unpack here. You really need to read all that Sony has packed into these. From the upscaling audio, to one touch audio play, to speak to pause tech to gestures and so so so much more. You can literally get lost in the app. Almost too much is going on here. Regardless, there is almost nothing that these buds can’t do. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Sony has multipoint connection option here as well. It is only two devices, so there are more robust options out there, but this should be fine for most in real life application. Very good stuff.So, should you buy these? If you are an Android user, the answer is 100% yes. Apple users have to consider that Airpods are more tightly integrated into their space. Further, Apple is getting ready to launch their high end sound codec as well, which these will not support. They are still worth considering though as Sony has just made a better sounding product. To me, these might be the best all around buds I have ever tried. From sound to calls to comfort, Sony has just nailed all of it. There are companies that offer buds that do one thing better perhaps, but none are as complete as these in my opinion. So, yes, buy these. You will not regret it. I will update as I go here.
Wow, impressive upgrade. There’s a bit of possible Sony hate going on in some reviews, like others I got burned on a pair of WF-10004XM refurbished and one of the batteries started failing after a year. Wasn’t worth the cost of repair. Have others from QCY and Soundcore that were surprisingly good for less cost. Also had trouble with refurbished headphones WH-1000XM4, luckily had added insurance. Cut to buying a new pair that have been flawless.Got the Sony WF-C700N a couple months ago to scratch my earbud itch. Very good for the price. If you’re not ready to throw down $300 for the XM5 they’re a great alternative. Not quite as musical, but no gripes anyway. You can get picky about the throwback buttons but oh well.One comment before I get more specific on the XM5. I fully agree with another review that calls out Sony for how complicated their Sony Connect app has become. It could be simplified for people who don’t want to get into the tech so much.Now, how do they sound? I’m impressed and I’m not using them to their full potential. Using with iPhone so Bluetooth SBC codec is the most basic and lowest quality solution (after digging into the codec question a bit more it does appear that the iPhone has the AAC codec also). However, with the help of Sony’s equalizer and DSEE function I’m very happy with the sound. I almost don’t want to try them with a better codec and then have to go back. (Still applies with AAC, DSE does improve sound)I need treble boost for my old ears and having played bass no surprise I like a lot of bass. These don’t disappoint. I did an A-B comparison with the XM4 headphones and they didn’t have quite the low end but good and punchy with good definition between bass and drums.both can become nice and “growly” on the low end.Noise cancellation is very good, not as good as the headphones but after only a couple days I have been quite satisfied so far.Comfort level is better than the XM4 buds, but I’m so pissed I wasted the money now I don’t want to dig them out to compare audio! I think Sony really improved the fit and design to be lighter, more comfortable, and have impressive sound. Let’s just hope they found a better battery.Used overnight and had battery left in the morning but playing audiobook on timer so i couldn’t say how long continuous playback.I’ll update after I’ve had them longer.(Update) battery life seems to be very similar to the XM4. Sometimes I have battery left in the morning sometimes it comes up short.Another follow up, comes with 4 sets of tips but apparently I have very large ear canals as I’m unable to get a complete seal with the included buds. The large felt good at first but when I used the connect app to check for airtight seals I could not get them to seal. Fortunately I have many tips I’ve saved over the years and by mixing, matching, and testing I have a couple that seal. I even tried ordering extra large tips from a couple vendors and they didn’t work either. Nice that Sony is including extra small but what about us with extra large needs! I do have a possible solution on the way, find a video on YouTube that shows how to use Sugro glue rolled up and inserted in the mushroom part of the tip. Press in the ear to get a fit and then allow to cure over night. Hoping it works, I have a few tips I’d like to try this on. Was even investigating custom molded tips but for $150 plus I’ll try the Sugro hack…8/5/23 tried the Sugro hack yesterday. Still have to work to get an airtight fit but it definitely helped.My opinion on the sound has not diminished. Excellent with what I listen too. A lot of classic rock but also new material from Elle King and others. Listening to Lourdes “Royals” a very deep bass which presents low, solid, and clear. You can easily distinguish the bass and drums. The low rumbling bass of Pink Floyd “Welcome to the Machine” couldn’t be much better in any buds. Almost like I could feel it.I’m now using the WF-C700n as my workout and dog walking buds. Sound signature is very similar but the bass is not quite as good. One thing they are lacking is the airtight fit check in the app. I had to use other tips and the Sugro mold hack to get a good consistent fit in both. The included tips are worthless to me and my big ears.I see a lot of criticism of the noise cancellation for the XM5. I have no way to measure so it’s pretty subjective but I’m not disappointed. At least as good as the XM4. But with any ANC earbuds the airtight seal is critical.If you’re not ready to throw down $300 the WF-C700n are a very good alternative, but are not touch controlled, a single button on each side. Not quite as good on the low end but not disappointing either. In direct comparison you can hear the difference.I still think these are 5 star worthy. I’d take off half a star because of the somewhat complex app but if you like to tinker with the sound and features, give it back. People who are not “technical minded” may find it intimidating. I find it useful but jammed with some features I wouldn’t normally use, like automatically changing settings depending on location as an example. Some might find it useful but not me. The equalizer and clear bass functions are excellent. DSEE function makes a noticeable difference in sound quality. Happier with these than I was with the XM4. Just hope the batteries last, I would hope Sony changed from the $70 replacement cost batteries (not including labor) used in the XM4 as apparently so many people had problems with them dying out after a few months.9/22/23Used these today instead of the WF-C700n for my indoor cycling and to walk the dog. Usually I do those activities with the cheaper buds as for $300 I want to take every precaution to protect them. So…more feedback on the ANC. Definitely a difference on the bike with 2 pretty loud blower fans on. The WF-C700n does a very good job in the same situation but I could definitely tell a difference. Could hardly hear the fans at all and the WF-1000XM5 does have the superior sound performance. Note these blowers are loud enough that if I have my Apple Watch to close to them I get the over 90db warning. They’re not 90db from the bike but they are loud. These cancelled almost all the noise. With volume on my music I don’t hear the fans at all.

Dear reader,Whatever you may be searching for in a new pair of earphones, I sincerely doubt that the MASTER & DYNAMIC MW08 Sport will satisfy your needs. I would advise you to purchase a different product and steer away from Master & Dynamic altogether.I wanted a new set of Bluetooth earphones for the gym, and was drawn to the promise of exceptional sound quality that the MW08’s advertised. For what it’s worth, these earphones do sound very good – when they work.My experience at the gym was wholeheartedly negative. Even with updated firmware, the Bluetooth connection was tragically poor. Listening to music was impossible – the sound would cut out continuously, especially with movement. Exactly when I would need a little musical energy to carry me through a motion, the music would be replaced with digital noise. Positioning my phone in different locations (pocket, floor, bench) made little difference. Even outside, away from other Bluetooth devices, sound would still cut in and out.Stubbornly undeterred, I accepted that these would be my new office headphones. However, less than a meter away from my computer’s Bluetooth antenna, I would still occasionally lose my connection to my music or Zoom call. I have humbly welcomed my wired earphones back to my desk.To add to my disappointment, the battery is poor. Not only do they have a short battery life (two to four hours), they will start to audibly warn of a low battery much, much earlier – further interrupting music or calls. The provided carrying case and charger doesn’t work well – the battery status lights will stay red or yellow overnight. Sometimes cycling power will change its mind.When I attempted to return these earphones, I was informed by Master & Dynamic that they would not be able to replace or service the unit, because the reseller was unauthorized (I did buy these from Amazon). At the time of writing this review, the black color is only available through a reseller.Dear reader, I would highly suggest that you close this tab, and find a different product to suit your needs. These are not the earphones you are looking for.
Update 11-04-23- at bottom of review. I just got these in the mail today. Dropped them on the wireless charger, got them to full capacity and set them up. Easy enough to pair, had to remove the little stickers over the ear bud charging contact, but then good to pair. The app was easy to set up. Has a familiar hearing test set up to fine tune the EQ for my screwed up hearing. Swapped the really tiny rubber ear bud plugs to a larger size to fit. Then fired up my music app. I was pleasantly surprised! They sound great, much better than expected! Look, people complaining about lack off bass need to realize what they stuck in their ear! For wireless ear buds, these have more than adequate bass. Great mids and highs as well. Happy with the sound quality!!I listen to old (& not so old) rock, some metal, hip hop (before it turned into whatever these kids today call hip hop), mellow “office music” all the way to singing bowls for meditation… these seem great right out of the gate.You see I got these during Amazon big deal days for about half off, $50 or so. They were gonna be back ups for my Jabra ear buds. I used to use some old Sony extra bass wired buds that cost 20 bucks 10 years ago ( the sound on those were really good for my eclectic audio preferences) as my back ups. However the new cell phones don’t have a 3.5 mm plug, so I needed an extra pair of wireless when the main ones are Recharging. As of today, I can see these being in the mix with the main pair! They really sound good and fit nice too. They are comfortable at this point, but alas; I have yet to wear them for hours on end.I cannot yet verify battery life or any other longer term possible issues. I will for myself and the purpose of this review use the statements provided by Anker as true, until proven wrong. At that point, if it should arise, I will gladly return to this review and update.As of today, I would recommend these, even at full price. Unless something catastrophic occurs, I would get these again. I have alot of Anker stuff, chargers, cables etc. and haven’t had any issues with those. No regrets in buying these. There are still running strong. The ANC is on par with higher end units. Recently flew for a few hours each way: zero (or no noticeable) latency while watching movies- the actors mouth and words match up great. The ANC does its best with airplane noise, but still let’s in some cabin buzz. I used an over the ear set of cheapy headphones with ANC in addition to these beautys and no problems, almost no noise. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of buds; great sound, great battery life- you charge the case with a wireless charger, nice convenience. They don’t fall out with snug rubber tips installed.Better than the numerous “beats” I’ve tried and definitely on par and outperforming my high end Jabra.Again, you should not have any issues with these at all and will be thanking that random reviewer so talking you into these!!!!Time will tell if these last, and so will I; I’ll be back if anything fails on these.
Is it worth $300. For the last 3 months, I wanted to find a pair of wireless earbuds that were, at the very least, comfortable.My previous pair of wireless earbuds, Sony’s WFSP800N were, by far, the most comfortable wireless earbuds I have ever experienced. That being said, they’re going on four years old. They disconnected randomly from my phone, they often remained on when I put them in their charging case, and on a few occasions, just my sweat would be enough to trigger the touch sensors and either skip or pause whatever song I was listening to.So, I set out to try just about every major brand that *wasn’t* Sony this time around.I tried the top of the line in the $200 price range from Jabra, Beats, and Sennheiser.Jabra was by far the one I wanted to succeed the most. I picked up the Jabra Elite 8. The sound was good. Noise cancelling was automatic and easy to cycle. And the fact that the materials were military grade and built to withstand just about anything really sold me. Unfortunately, prolonged wear hurt my right ear. I returned them a few days later and tried the Beats Fit Pro. I thought that the wings would provide stabilization and comfort. I was wrong. I didn’t even get a chance to really try them out. My ears were in agonizing pain due to the rigidity of the wings. I returned them the same day I bought them. I had high hopes for Sennheiser, and though they sounded amazing, they hurt in the same way that Jabra did.Cue Bose to come in. The thing that set them apart from the competition were the comfort wings. They come in three different sizes. I tried using the medium wings first, but prolonged use still caused pain in just my right ear, even though my left was fine. The small wings though fit perfectly in both, and have not created any issues of discomfort or pain. They’re actually on par comfort wise with the Sony earbuds I got almost 4 years ago.Now, the sound was night and day to anything I have ever tried before. The sheer depth of everything was immaculate, and with the app you can adjust the different tones accordingly. But the features that won out was the noise cancelling “quiet” mode, the sound heightening “immersion” mode, and the all around “aware” mode.These are the best noise cancelling earbuds I have ever experienced with the quiet mode. The immersion mode let’s you listen to music in all levels around you as if you’re sitting in the middle of an orchestra. The aware mode transfers sound from the outside to you as if you aren’t wearing headphones at all.All three modes are miles above the other competing products I have bought. But the Aware mode is absolutely amazing as any other version of this sounds Tinny or Electronic. This was the first time I have ever forgotten I was even wearing headphones. The music may not have been playing, but the background noise was so clear that I just didn’t need to take the headphones out and put them away. This actually made it easy to listen to music at a low volume and still be able to keep up with concentrating on conversations or work place activities and lectures.The case uses the USB C charging cable, and you get a full charge if it’s completely dead in about 2 hours. That being said, I probably get about 6 to 8 hours with consecutive use of the earbuds on a single charge. With the charging case, I can probably go 20 to 25 hours without needing to recharge. But what I love is that not only will the earbuds audibly tell you when they are low after they’ve been sitting in the case, the case itself has a light indicator to tell you when the charging battery is drained.Overall, is this worth $300? Considering it blew every other $200 competitor, including my original earbuds out of the water (which I paid $250 for when they were released near 4 years ago), I would say that TO ME, they are worth the money. I’m not comparing them to current Sonys on the market, nor have I ever tried the Quiet Comfort 2s. If you feel that it isn’t big enough of a jump, then cool. But to me, comparing them to all of the earbuds that caused me pain, I do feel like this is a case of “Getting Your Money’s Worth.”I sincerely like these, and I am happy I spent the money for the sake of impressive comfort and impressive sound quality.11/14/2023

Very Dissapointed. I was forced to buy new earbuds becuase I accidentally left my old BOSE QC earbuds in my pants pocket and washed them. They would eventually power up but would not connect etc. so I opted for the new BOSE Ultra QC earbuds. But, the only thing ultra about these earbuds is that the sound quality is slightly better the the regular QC’s and for me is the only Pro in my evaluation.I’ll preface this with I use my earbuds on multiple devices. iPhone, iPad and laptop.Let’s start with what I hate about the case.1. Its smaller then the regular QC’s which is good for slipping them in your pocket. What I miss in this case is the indicator lights that show you the battery level of the case. The ultra case does not have this and haveing it is very helpful to me.2. With the regualer QC case you can also toggle between devices with the small button inside the case. Although the ultra case has this button on the back, its pretty much useless and barely has any functions. Its almost wasted effort in designn and manfacturing for BOSE.2.a With the button on the regular case you can press it once to see what device it is connected to. very simple and very useful. The ultra case does not do this. You have to open the BOSE app on your device to see where its connected AND you have to use the app to change devices. This may be my biggest issue. Its musch easier to just toggle the button on the case while the buds are in your ears to change evices. I don’t want to have to get my phone out, open the app, wait for the app to connect , touch the earbud icon to see my choices and select what device I want. I simply want to toggle the button on the case.3. Trying to withdraw the earbuds from the case is not easy. The only way I can get them out of the case is by tugging on the rubber ear piece. I’m sure over time they will tear apart. This seems to not been thought through by the designers.Now lets go with the earbuds.1. They are small and I guess that’s ok not much of an issue here except for the earpice options. While I have to use the largest option from the choice of 3; even the largest option isn’t really big enough. It fits ok but not great. My regular QC’s biggest option is larger and fits really good. I’m not sure why they didn’t retain the same sizing options for the ultra.2. While using, you have to luanch the app to see the battery life. With the regular QC’s you simply touch the left bud to hear the battery level. Again, very simple and useful.2.a Lets talk about battery life. While initially I just used my new ultras for conference calls and listening to videos while connected to my laptop and it all seemed good. Then one day, with a full charge, I went for a walk that lasted just over an hour. With about 10 minutes left on the walk I started getting low battery responses. I’m like, no way. I can’t have this. I normally have several conference calls that last over an hour and I can’t have these dying in the middle of a call. I also travel a lot by air and often have flights over 2 hours. So reason #1 why I returned them.3. The sound quality is very comprable for both and while the ultra may be slightly better but not worth the extra $$. I’m a sound nut and not opposed to spending extra doe for better quality but not here. Especially with the other issues I have for this version.All in all, I’m very dissapointed in BOSE’s effort with the Ultra’s. I have a lot of bose items and this is the first time I’ve been dissapointed in their products. So much so I sent the ultras back and purchased the regular QC noise cancelling earbuds like I had before. Now I’m happy again.
A qualidade deste fone é excelente. Testei ele na estrada e além do áudio fantástico, não conseguia ouvir praticamente nada do motor do carro e do barulho da rodovia. A interface do app para celular é muito boa e simples. Fácil de configurar e usar. A bateria tem durado muito. Fiquei mais de um mês sem carregar e a bateria do estojo sempre preenchia a bateria do fone para 100%. O preço não é dos mais favoráveis, mas a qualidade vale o preço sim. Ah, outra coisa importante: se você costuma jogar muito ou assistir a vídeos, este fone tem uma das menores taxa de lag do mercado. Além do modo jogo, que reduz o lag ainda mais, o modo normal já deixa o lag praticamente imperceptível. Esta foi a principal razão de eu ter comprado este fone, o atraso mínimo, que eu não consigo notar. E o isolamento de ruído dele ganhou excelentes avaliações como uma das melhores do mercado.
Curiosamente termine comprando estos audífonos Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds después de devolver unos audífonos Sony WF-1000XM5.¿Qué hicieron mejor que los Sony? En cuanto a características, la aplicación de celular, sonido y ANC no les falta nada a los dos. Los dos son de alta gama y se nota. Pero en mi caso los Sony fueron muy incómodos. Para que el ANC en el modelo WF-100XM5 funcione correctamente es necesario que las “gomitas” de un material tipo “memory foam” hagan vacío en tus oídos. Y la única forma en la que lo conseguí (según la misma aplicación de los audífonos) fue usando las gomas grandes (L) y eran muy incómodas.El modelo de Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (que al momento de escribir esto) es más caro. Es muchísimo más cómodo. Porque su ANC no tiene el requerimiento de “vacío en el oído” de los Sony. Además ajustan diferente a los Sony. No solo tienen la gomita (de plástico, no es memory foam) que se mete en el oído, además traen un “ganchito” que ajusta en la oreja para que los audífonos no se muevan. Y cada que los colocas en los oídos hacen un sonido (tipo orquesta) para asegurarse de hacer bien el ANC.He leído otras reseñas que se quejan de que el sonido (calidad de audio, para los audiófilos) no es nada del otro mundo, tomando en cuenta que son marca Bose. Y estoy de acuerdo. No es nada del otro mundo y estoy seguro que otros modelos Bose tienen mejor calificación en este aspecto. Pero la música suena muy bien, sobretodo si activas el modo “Inmersión” (que por defecto, pone al máximo el ANC).El ANC es excelente. Los uso en la oficina y estoy a unos metros de la cafetera donde la gente se junta a platicar y moler el café (es la definición de ruido) con el ANC no escucho nada de ruido ambiental, solo mi música.En verdad son unos excelente audífonos. Y los recomiendo mucho.

The added ear tips make customability even better especially for small ears like mine.The Active Noise Cancellation is clearly superior to the first generation and the addition of Adaptive audio is super cool and very useful.The battery is even better than I was expecting. The AirPods charge super fast in the case, and the case charging itself is also super fast. The USB-C cord is a very nice addition especially with the new, more common, USB-C charging block. The new Apple Braided USB-C cord is also a small but nice touch.I personally do not use the ring on the side, but I imagine many people may find it useful. The addition of the Find My capabilities with both the case and the AirPods themselves is beyond helpful because I always seem to misplace them. Small bonus, every time you charge the case or the AirPods, the case sounds off a little chime to let you know that they are charging or if the battery is low.As an owner of the AirPods Max and a former owner of the AirPods Pro gen 1, I would 100% recommend this new generation. The noise cancellation is superior to the gen 1, but slightly behind the Maxes because they are in-ear instead of over-ear. If you want the maxes, I would get them, but it depends on your activities. The AirPods Pro are ideal because they are small, descrete, and light weight. You can slip them in your pocket or place just one in your ear. They are also very useful and comfortable to use while working out, as opposed to the maxes.The AirPods are quite durable too. If my first pair is any indication to this pair, then I promise you, they can take a beating. After 4 years of having the first gen AirPods Pro, I have thrown them around, dropped them hundreds of times and they often got small scratches, but only chipped once or twice after higher falls on super hard surfaces. But they worked every single time.Long story short, if you’re on the fence, get them. O controle de ruído e a qualidade do microfone são excelentes, especialmente quando comparados a outros fones da mesma categoria. A durabilidade da bateria também me surpreendeu, durando mais de 8 horas sem recarga.Tenho outros modelos de concorrentes famosos, mas este se destaca em cancelamento de ruído e duração da bateria. Na categoria intra-auricular, poucos modelos oferecem uma qualidade de microfone decente. Eu daria uma nota entre 7 e 8 para o microfone, o que é ótimo para um fone desse tipo. Para qualidade de microfone excepcional, geralmente é necessário um modelo que cubra toda a orelha.Um ponto negativo é que o manual veio em japonês, mas encontrei facilmente uma versão em inglês na internet. Isso não desqualifica o fone, apenas um detalhe a considerar.Outro ponto positivo é a sincronização com diversos dispositivos de diferentes marcas. Alternar entre dispositivos Apple e Android é fácil, algo que não vi em outros modelos.Estou confortável em dar a nota máxima: 5 estrelas.
Update:I returned it because of a serious sounds cut, breaks on the right one.I have my beats fit pro and they are good for more than 1 and have year, but I decide to go for bose finally after reading and watching many real reviews, this earbud is AMAZING, the sound quality is great with the NC, using it while reading and studying for a long time, I’m really in love with these earbuds.
Incredible for the price. I acquired my first set of these by happenstance…. My neighbor had gotten them for her boyfriend and they broke up before they arrived, so she asked if I wanted them. I figured I’d give them a try and said yes, and I’m very glad I did! I’m not an audiophile, nor do I have much of a budget, so I was rocking my three year old Jaybird Vistas still, which I loved for the sound quality, but after having completed my college degree primarily by Zoom during the pandemic, my ears were hurting after extended wear and I wasn’t sure where to go from there. These little earbuds surprised me with their high quality sound and how insanely comfortable they were in my ears. I don’t need a high level of sound dampening but they work great in the train tunnel during my commute, and I can still hear well enough when they’re in Transparency mode. Using the app is easy and personalizes the buds to my preferences, and they have a fantastic range which can handle the bass in dance, rock, and whatever else I’m listening to, even at higher volumes. Plus, when I receive calls, the other person can hear me clearly! I’ve never had them fall out of my ears except for when I’ve accidentally dislodged them by bumping them, but even then it’s a rare occurrence and they’ve never broken. (I’m only on a second set because my wife absconded with my first set and has refused to give them up, even over her AirPods Pro, so I figured I better order my own…. Happy wife, happy life, right?) The battery life is also crazy in the best way…. I’ve only had to charge them a handful of times in almost a year, and I use them at least a couple of hours a day. In my opinion, you’ll really have a time finding a better pair of earbuds for the money.
Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds. The sound, the fit / comfort, and the ease of setting it up (app on iPhone 15 Pro) are the three features that set thes earbuds above the competition.After you unbox and charge the buds, you put them in your ear. The Bose app immediately determines if the fit is proper – it was. I don’t need to change anything. The buds fit snugly but comfortably. Unlike the iPods Pro 2, they don’t fall out or become loose – this is a major plus.It’s over 90 outside, so my AC is on. When I tried the 3 listening modes and turned up the noise reduction – silence. I couldn’t hear my AC, not even faintly.I sampled the virtuoso piano playing oh Yuja Wang, The bass was very pronounced – didn’t sound right. I found the equalizer adjustments: bass -10, mid +5, and treble +10. Voila! Very easy to adjust to your preference. Orchestral pieces: +6, +7, +8 …YMMV.These are the best earbuds ever. Small and compact; well designed, and durable. Highly recommended.Are they perfection? No. The case should have come with wireless charging – the iPods Pro 2 have this feature. These bud work on one device at a time – multiple devices would have been nice. And lastly, the batteries last 4 hours – 6 or 8 hours to cover longer flights? Bose add these to your improvements list; one or more can be accomplished with firmware? These are not deal breakers, but a bit more than nice to have.

Comprei com desconfiança, mas o produto apresenta características do oficial, pois verifiquei junto ao site da bose pelo canal de contratipos, enviando fotos, videos, serial number e recebi a resposta que se trata de um produto oficial. Consegui registrar o mesmo na minha conta bose e fica aparecendo que o produto está com o período de garantia em vigência. Assisti diversos umboxing e todos os elementos que identifiquei estavam presentes na embalagem. As funcionalidades do app funcionam perfeitamente. Diante disso, entendi que se trata realmente de um produto original e recomendo a compra. Lembrando que o defeito de um leve chiado no fone esquerdo ainda permanece, mas somente incomoda se não tiver tocando nenhum audio.

I previously had the generation before but had to replace them these work great, the sound quality is there but the noise cancelling is not as good as it’s previous generation. That being said I really like these.

Great value and quality. I am not a huge fan of earbuds as i prefer over the ear headphones however, being the Anker fiend I am I decided to pick these up when they were on sale. I don’t remember the exact price but somewhere around $50. After having several Anker products which I have always loved I figured I couldn’t go wrong with these. I am glad I did. They are comfortable & come with different tip sizes to fit your ear. The charging case will charge wirelessly or by type C. There is a 3 dot LED indicator on the front of the case to let you know the battery status anytime you open or close the case. The magnet on the case is decent but not overly strong. If you drop the case, it will definitely open up and send your earbuds across the floor though. Sound quality is surprisingly good, especially for the price point. I’ve had a pair of Jabra Active 65t elite which were at least double if not triple the price I paid for these and I honestly like the Anker better. They are more comfortable for me and the battery life is crazy good. I can wear mine all day (8 hours or more) and most of the time it’s not even alerting me of low battery. If you are looking for great value, good sound quality, great battery life and easy to use app then look no further.
Very decent earbuds for $99. WOW! These are the only ones I’ve tried so far that don’t hurt my ears, and I can wear them for long hours. They are very light weight as well. Sound and battery have been good as well. Also made a few calls.
It fits in your ears and sounds amazing. For this price the product is so amazing, i have used soundcore products before and they just works. Good brand and reasonably priced also the battery lasts for a long time.
