   My Rusk hairdryer survived daily use for 8 years. This dryer lasted less than 6 months. It was painfully loud with progressively worse power until it just quit one day. Biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent.

   I purchased this hair dryer about 5 years ago from Ulta and have had no issues with it. I found it to be a great and powerful hair dryer. For reference, I have a lot of thick, wavy hair and live in a humid climate, so I need to use a hair dryer every time I wash my hair. I love how quickly this dryer dries my hair and how silky it come out. It comes with several attachments, but I rarely use those. I would definitely buy again.

   Hot Tools great customer service – September 23, 2023

   Fan was faulty. Worked great for 1 1/2 years then fan became extremely loud & quit. I contacted Ulta when the issues with the dryer began, and they were quite UNhelpful! I tried to determine my purchase date by searching my purchase history on Ulta’s website, and I was unable to search more than six months prior. I contacted Customer Service for assistance, and they told me that they couldn’t help me if I was unable to tell them my purchase date. I explained the situation and asked for assistance with warranty, etc., and they never responded. Hot tools on the other hand went above and beyond to assist me and replaced my dryer for me. I won’t purchase a dryer through Ulta again, but I’d certainly buy another Hot Tools dryer as I was very impressed with their customer service abd how they backed their products.

   I bought this blowdryer for the attachments but they don’t stay on!!! It makes blow drying my hair take longer because the attachments are falling off every other minute.

   I bought a version of this dryer (Rainbow Gold trim) in 2019. I really loved this dryer, honestly. It is loud, but powerful.
   Last year when using it, my OUTLET had a flame coming out of it. My house was 5 years old and I know the outlets were just fine. The dryer was fine and I could still use it. I had my husband test it in the garage just to be safe. Like others said, the handle gets extremely hot after a bit and I can’t hold it anymore.
   Recently, I was drying my hair and it just started making a god awful loud cracking sound, then BAM something inside blew up. It was so scary. It smelled burning and it’s obvious the motor inside came apart! I kept my receipt as I recall reading it had a good warranty. Hoping to get it replaced!
