So let’s get started! First of all what is Visitor Spy?

Visitor Spy is the latest concoction by the well known internet marketer Matt Callen. Visitor Spy is basically a new free tracking tool that you can install on your website to get information about your visitors. It’s similar to Google’s tracking service only it has a twist…

You see with visitor spy you can actually watch what your visitors are doing on your site. Seriously. Every visitor that comes to your site will be recorded via video so you can watch what they are doing on your site.

I have a confession to make. When I first got the email a couple of days ago about Visitor Spy I thought to myself…

“It’s just another internet marketing ‘guru’ trying to sell me some new piece of software crap”. And 99% of the time I just delete the email and don’t waste my time looking at what they’re trying to sell me. But being the curious fellow that I am I decided to check it out and find out abit more about the program and I’m seriously glad that I did otherwise I would of missed out on something special.

Between you an me I have to say that this is a seriously powerful program. Because not only does it do the normal tracking stuff like showing you your traffic sources i.e where did your traffic come from and what keyword did they type to get to your site but you also have the ability to watch your visitors in real time.

I mean, have you ever wondered what a visitor is doing on your site? Where they’re clicking what pages they’re visiting. At what point are they leaving your site? For example say you have a review landing page and it’s not converting as well as you had hoped for. Well with visitor spy you could look through the videos of your visitors on your site and see why they’re not clicking your affiliate links and making you money.

Here’s exactly how the system works:

• You install a script on your domain, takes 2 minutes
• You place some code on the pages you want to track. It’s even easier to do on wordpress because you just place the code in the footer section.
• Visitor Spy then gets to work tracking everything about your visitors.
• You then login to your Visitor Spy account and then view your stats and can watch the videos of your visitors.
• You then have a wealth of information about your visitors and know exactly what they want. You can then give them exactly what they want which will increase conversions and make you more money.

The Bad Points

Although Visitor Spy is a great service like everything it does have a  bad point.

• The only thing I can think of that some people may consider bad is that with the free membership to visitor spy you can only track one website. If you want to track more websites then you have to upgrade your membership. I did upgrade to platinum because it’s totally worth it. I think you pay something like $37/ month and track unlimited websites. Or you can save a ton of money by purchasing a lifetime membership for a hundred and something dollars. I bought the lifetime membership because it works out a lot cheaper. I must say though that even though you have to upgrade if you want the unlimited access membership it’s actually very cheaply priced for what you’re getting.

The Good Points

Look, I could sit here and list the good points all day but  being the smart person you are I think you know what visitor spy does and you can already see the benefits of the program. It has a bunch of cool functions and you can try it out for free. In my opinion the best way to learn about a program like this is to try it out for yourself and because it’s free you have nothing to lose.

If you’re serious about internet marketing or you just own a website and you want to know what your visitors are doing then you’d be a fool not to try visitor spy.
