Let’s Cut The BS – This Is What You Need To Know About Launch Jacking

By now you’ve probably heard about a new product called Launch Jacking and are wondering what it’s all about and whether it’s worth buying. In this post I’m going to cut the bull shit and tell you the truth.

Here’s the truth. Launch Jacking is NOT new! There have been countless number of products on the subject over the past couple of years.

Launch Jacking is basically the process of finding a product that is going to come out soon and then getting your website to the top of Google to capture some of the sales from people doing a Google search during the buzz period of the launch.

It’s very simple stuff and it’s not new.

I don’t want to brag here but I was one of the first people to do Launch Jacking years ago!

I’ve been doing this since 2004! Waaaaay before any of the “Gurus” or before people started creating products on the subject so I know a little bit about the subject of “Launch Jacking”.

Here’s What You Need To Know!

Back when I started doing this in 2004 there was absolutely ZERO competition. I could guarantee myself the number one spot for a product launch within hours.

I used to have $2,000 days from an hours work because there was no competition. But back then product launches were scarce.

Then a few years later when internet marketing products became more popular there were more products for me to promote.

So the $2,000 days became more regular.

Then gradually some more competition came about. At around 2007 I was now competing with around 5 other people.

I could guarantee that when a product was launching there would be us 5 on the front page all competing to out rank each other.

So now I was averaging maybe $500 per launch depending on where I was in the top 5. It was still good though and a lot of fun.

But then gradually people on forums started to see us on the front page for every launch and they wanted in on the action.

So naturally the competition started to grow and it got harder to get the top spot in Google for these launches.

The next thing I knew the “Gurus” started to take notice of what we were doing and they created their crappy little products that showed the masses that they could make money Launch Jacking.

Since then there’s been a ton of products on the subject so now for every product launch in the Internet Marketing field there’s literally hundreds of people competing for chump change. It’s just not worth it anymore to actively go after the internet marketing product launches.

However that doesn’t mean that Launch Jacking doesn’t work, because it does.

The key to making money from product launches now is to forget about the IM launches because they’re just far to competitive for too little money.

Sure you might make $500+ from the number 1 spot of an IM product launch but with all those people competing you may have to spend a few weeks trying to prove to Google that your site is the one for the top spot. So it’s just not worth it.

So yeah the key is to go for product launches outside of internet marketing.

I generally go after 2-3 product launches a month now.

Here’s some of the markets I get into.

• Forex.

Forex product launches are similar to internet marketing except they’re less competitive and there’s usually more money to be made because the products are usually at a higher price. Some of them are $5,000+.

Launch Jacking Forex launches is becoming more competitive unfortunately. I’ve been promoting Forex launches for the past 2-3 years and when I started there was no competition but as you can guess the competition is growing fast and as more people catch on the competition will become too much just like it did in the internet marketing niche.

So Forex is ok at the moment but it’s getting more competitive.

• Computer Games!

Computer games generate so much buzz it’s unbelievable! However the payouts are very small and the competition is huge!

There’s no way you’re going to rank top of Google for the games name but it’s not that hard to rank for “Buy Game Name” etc.

Game launches are a good way to make a few thousand dollars but because you’re competing against very established gaming websites and sites like Amazon these launches can be hit and miss. For you to make money on these product launches you need to go for the long tail.

So there are a ton of niches and markets where products are launching and there is money to be made but what you need to remember is that this is not new and if you decide to buy the Launch Jacking product then a lot of other people will buy it too.

A Few Things To Know About Launch Jacking

1. Launch Jacking isn’t easy. It can be boring promoting product after product and trying to get them to the top spot in Google.
2. It can be hard work! And that’s no joke. Don’t be fooled by the Launch Jacking sales page that tells you it’s easy as pie and you’ll be making $50k per month by tomorrow! Sure you can make money or even a lot of money doing it but you’ll still have to work your ass off.
3. Launch Jacking is not guaranteed! Not every product you promote will be a hit. Hell you might promote 10 products and only 3 of them make you any money. Yet you still worked your ass off.
4. There’s 2 ways you can fail. The first way is that your site may not get into the top 3 where most of the traffic is so no one reads your review and buys. The second way is that your presell/ review just doesn’t convert or even the sales page itself doesn’t convert. It can happen!
5. It doesn’t last forever. Unfortunately after the buzz has died down your site will stop making sales. So if you stop working then you stop getting paid.

The above are just some things you need to know.

Should You Buy Launch Jacking?

Honestly I was a buyer of a product called Bring The Fresh which was another product by these guys and it was pretty solid. It was basic info but still pretty good. So I expect more of the same when it comes to Launch Jacking. I expect the content to be good and solid and I’m sure if you follow it you’ll see some success. But just don’t expect to be making $50k per month by tomorrow.

Why You Should NOT Buy Launch Jacking

Lets face it 99% of the products that come out in internet marketing are a total SCAM but yet you’re going to be promoting them?

The people that make these products and do these product launches couldn’t care less about their customers. They just create half assed products slap up a slick sales page and get their scam buddies to email their lists.

You know it and I know it that 99% of these products are scams and this is a HUGE problem in internet marketing. Do you really want to be one of the scum bags promoting these products?

This is another reason that I don’t promote internet marketing products anymore because I don’t want it on my conscience that I’m helping make these scumbags rich and scamming people.

People buying these products that gurus/scammers release are desperately looking for a way to make money to support their family.

By launch jacking you are helping these “gurus” to continue their scam operation.

Hell some of you that will buy Launch Jacking are the same people complaining on forums how much you hate these scam product launches yet now you’ve found out you can make some money from them you don’t care anymore?

Hell no. Help stomp out these scammers from the internet marketing industry by NOT launch jacking and promoting their products.

Because at the end of the day people that come to Google looking for information on these products and see your glowing review are going to buy on your recommendation. And they just got scammed because of YOU!

Because little did they know that YOU didn’t buy the product and YOU had no idea if the product was good or not.

Believe me there are better way and more honest ways of making money. You don’t have to stoop to the level of bottom feeding off of product launches to make a quick buck. You are better than that. And to be honest I feel ashamed that I once did it too. Now I only promote the products I’ve tried and tested.

So can you make money launch jacking? Yes.

Should you buy launch jacking and do it? Not if you’re a decent human being and have a conscience.

As you’re reading this now you’re probably thinking about joining Esporta to get in shape or lose a bit of weight. There’s nothing wrong with that and Esporta has some great equipment to help you reach those goals. However there are some things you need to know before you sign their contracts.

I’m going to say this first. If you sign their contract without serious consideration as to what you’re getting yourself in to then you’re a fool. Just like I was…

About 12 months ago I joined Esporta Tunbridge Wells. The facilities were pretty good and the service wasn’t bad. The first day I went in there to sign up they were extremely nice to me. They asked if I was hungry and even gave me a couple of free drinks from the vending machine. (All part of the B*** S*** patter to butter you up and get you to sign their contract.) And obviously they buttered me up quite well because I signed their outrageous contract.

Now everyone says “Always read the contract before you sign it.” But when you’re sat there with the gym staff hovering around you and buttering you up with free drinks it’s extremely difficult to sit there for half an hour and read the small print of a contract that was written by some scam artist lawyer. In fact it’s almost impossible. And Esporta knows this.

After I joined Esporta

So it all started quite well and I went several times a week for the first couple of months and then inevitably like most people I started to lose interest with Esporta which was costing me £76/month!!!

My membership was for a minimum of 12 months and I heard on the internet forums that they were quite nasty and vulture like when it comes to collecting fees so I waited patiently for the 12 months to end so I could cancel my membership.

So in the last 12 months I’ve spent £912 for a gym membership that I barely use. And yes this is a lot of money to me. I’m not rich.

So last week I realised my 12 months were up and cancelled the membership. I just cancelled my direct deposit through the bank and today I get a phone call saying that I’m not allowed to cancel yet because on top of the 12 month minimum contract they want 3 months notice!

So the contract is a minimum of 12 months before you can even tell them you want to cancel and then an extra 3 months for them to allow you to leave!!

Read that again. 12 months before you can even tell them you want to cancel and then 3 months notice before you can leave!!

You’re going to be paying them for the next 15 months at least before you can leave with no way of getting out.

I seriously hope after reading the line above you are having second thoughts about selling your soul to Esporta, err I mean signing up to their wonderful gym.

I bet you’re wondering why they want 3 months worth of notice. Well me too. I have absolutely no idea and there’s no other way to put it than as a scam so they can bleed as much money from you as possible.

So anyway when they called me I basically asked them for a bit of kindness and to give me a break, do you think they did?

The phone call went something like this..

Esporta: Hello, is this Mr X.?

Me: Yes, who is this?

Esporta: This is Esporta and I’m calling you because you cancelled your direct deposit last week.

Me: Yes I did because my 12 month contract was up and I haven’t been to the gym in a long time.

Esporta: Your 12 months were a minimum we then need 3 months notice.

Me: Are you serious?

Esporta: Yes, it’s in the contract.

Me: Ok, well I’ve been a member of the gym for over a year now and in the last 10 months I’ve only gone a few times. Can you give me a break and just let it go? I have been paying you £76/ month for something I don’t even use.

Esporta: No, it’s in the contract you signed so you have to pay..

I ended the phone call there because I didn’t know what else to say. The girl on the phone had a sweet girly voice but she was obviously a little vulture that wasn’t going to let me off the hook.

So anyway that’s where I am now. Esporta are demanding 3 months worth of payment for something that I haven’t used in months and don’t want to use any more. And you better believe that if I don’t pay they’re going to get the debt collection agencies on me as they’ve done with so many other people that have realised they’ve been conned and tried to cancel their membership.

Esporta Report Conclusion

So at the end of the day I was a fool for signing the contract. But I’m no lawyer or contract expert. I’m just an average guy that wanted to get in shape. Yes I should have read the contract but as I said above they were extremely nice to me buttering me up with drinks and hovering around me (Probably trying to make sure I don’t read the contract) I trusted them as have thousands and thousands of others and they’ve pretty much played us like fools.

Esporta’s terms are absolutely outrageous and are in my opinion and the opinion of thousands of other people a total con.

It’s Esporta’s aim to bleed as much money out of you as possible I was a fool for signing their contract but if after reading this you decide to walk in to Esporta and sign their contract then more fool you!

Now if you want to get in shape but don’t want to sell your soul to Esporta then check out Wills P90X Review. I’ve only heard good things about it from lots of people and it’s only a fraction of the cost of a gym membership.

Each of the above is a different workout and the whole focus of the P90X workout package is on “muscle confusion”.

What Is Muscle Confusion?

Basically you’ll spend 3 weeks doing a series of exercises and then have a recovery week.

With the other exercise programs out there you’ll usually see good results at the beginning but then your body gets accustomed to the routine and it becomes less effective.

However the P90X program relies on muscle confusion. Because you’re constantly doing different exercises and workouts your body cant get accustomed to what you’re doing therefore the exercises you’re doing are constantly effective so you get stronger and fitter more quickly.

I hope my explanation of muscle confusion is clear to you. It sounds right in my head .

How Much Time Do You Need To Spend Doing The P90X Workouts?

So one of my concerns before I bought the P90X program was how much time it would take up but thankfully it only takes up about an hour or so per day for 6 days a week and you have one day off as a rest day to let your body recover.

What Do I Think Of Tony Horton, The P90X Trainer?

So the person on the dvds who guides you through the P90X workouts is called Tony Horton. He seems like a cool enough guy. He’s very enthusiastic and is right there doing the workouts with you. After spending 90 days working out to the dvds alongside Tony I can’t really imagine working out with anyone else! It sounds strange because he’s just a guy on a dvd but he really helps you get through the workouts.

My Personal Opinion Of P90X

The P90X workout program is not easy. It’s incredible doable but you’re going to feel some aches and pains while going through it.

You need to be committed and you need to really want to get fit. In other words if you want to get fit with P90X then you need to be dedicated and stick with it.

If you’re going to give up at the first sign of muscle ache then P90X is not for you, however the P90X program really isn’t that hard so if you don’t mind a bit of hard work then you’ll see great results with this program.

Overall the first 3 weeks are the hardest, I had a bit of trouble with the Yoga X workout which lasts almost 90 minutes.

I started to notice a difference in my physique after the first 3 weeks and felt a lot fitter. After the initial 3 weeks it was still hard but it seemed easier because of the increased fitness I’d gained in the first 3 weeks. Don’t be put off though, yes it’s hard but it’s very doable.

The thing you need to realise is that doing the exercise and workouts aren’t going to kill you. They may be hard work but it’s totally worth it because at the end of it all you’re going to be in great shape and looking good.

When things get tough just push through it because you can do it! It sounds silly but my motto when it came to doing the workouts and exercises was Just Do It. So when I felt like I couldn’t be bothered to put the dvd in and workout I told myself to just do it.

My P90X Results

I was asked to post a few photos of the results I’ve gotten from the P90X program so here they are below. Unfortunately I don’t have any before photo’s because I didn’t know at the time that I’d be writing this review.

So that’s my P90X results. Now that I’ve gone through the P90X 90 day program I personally feel amazing. I feel like I’ve never been healthier or in better shape than I’m in now. Yes it was a hard 90 days but it was 100% worth it.

When I started I was 5 foot 11 and weighed 11 and a half stone and now at the end of the 90 days I’m still 5 foot 11 but I accomplished my goal to lose half a stone because I now weigh 11 stone and according to my friends Wii fit machine I now have a perfect bmi thanks to P90X.

But most importantly I feel great. I feel like I’ve got a lot more energy and I don’t get tired so easily. Now that I’ve completed the 90 day program I think I’m just going to go for a jog now and again and eat healthily.

I’ve heard that some people after they’ve completed the program do the P90X workouts again to get super fit! I may do the program again at some point in the future but for now I’m happy. It’s nice to know it’s there if I need it.

So overall I totally recommend P90X. Stick with it for the full 90 days and you’ll get results.

I remember when I was growing up people used to tell me I had lovely teeth. Even my dentist would tell me they were perfect.

Ever since I was a teenager I’ve wanted bigger breasts. My mother told me not to worry, “You’ll fill out one day she said.” But that day just never came.

Info Prodigy is the latest course by Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey, they’re partnering with someone called Kate Anderson who I’ll admit I’ve never heard of but apparently she’s created something like 150 info products in the past few years so she obviously knows her stuff.

Now personally I make all of my money as an affiliate marketer I’ll admit it I don’t really sell my own products (Even though I know I should).

Steve said something a while ago that made me think differently about making money online, he said something like,

“Why be an affiliate among thousands selling someone elses product when you can be a product owner and have thousands of affiliates promoting for you?”

Now this is GOLD and one of the reasons that I respect Steve (The creator of Info Prodigy) as a marketer. And that quote is absolutely true. Why not create your own products and have affiliates do all the work and make you money instead of being an affiliate among thousands making someone else all the money.

Why Did I Buy Fat Loss 4 Idiots?

To lose a bit of weight. I’m 38 years old now and over past couple of years I’ve put on a few pounds. I would exercise if I had the time but when I get home from work I just don’t have the energy. I joined a gym earlier this year but cancelled after a couple of weeks because I just didn’t have the time or energy to go, plus I feel self conscious exercising in front of people.

Some of it’s basic but there’s some good info in there that I found helpful.

Basically with the Diet Generator all you need to do is tick the foods that you like and then click submit and the generator will give you an 11 day meal plan of 4 meals per day.

And don’t think that it’s all rabbit food on there either. The generator will give you a meal plan of food that you’ll actually like.

Each menu plan lasts for 11 days because with the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program you do things in sets of 11 days then have a break and so on. All you then need to do is follow the meal plan which is pretty easy to do.

My Results From Using Fat Loss 4 Idiots

So I’m now about 2 months in to the program now and have done about 5 sets of 11 day menus and in these 2 months I’ve lost about 22 pounds. However I have made a small effort to exercise too because on a Sunday I’ll go swimming.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots could definitely be used as a long term diet program as it’s easy to follow and the food is nice, not like some programs that only have you eating lettuce like a rabbit.

So I definitely recommend Fat Loss 4 Idiots. If you have time to do exercise as well as follow the Fat Loss For Idiots program then you’ll probably get even better results than me. But even if you use the program on it’s own it should help you to lose weight.
